When time meets money

“When I was 22 years old all I wanted was financial independence but as time goes by I understood that when one has freedom of time that person is wealthy. Few tell work till you get 40 years, save the money and enjoy your retirement. Few tell to chase the passion after 45 years.
And I’d sit with that and wonder — what exactly are we chasing, after we’ve already given our best years, our sharpest energy, our most alive selves to a desk and a deadline?
What’s left to chase then?.
Work is important but work is not the only important thing.
There is a quote that tells “ராமன் இல்லை என்னில் ராமாயணம் இல்லை, ராமன் மட்டும் ராமாயணம் இல்லை”.

A story needs all its elements. And so does a life.
Freedom of time is living. Not a reward at the end of the road. Not something you earn after decades. It’s the point. It’s the whole point.
This is day one of that understanding. Of that goal.
